Philippines glorious days in Miss Universe pageant for this
millennium started with Ma. Venus Raj

Tugonon in 2012, Ariella Arida in
2013, while MJ Lastimosa on the other
hand reached the Top 10 in 2014. Now, another Filipina aspire the 3rd

Wurtzbach was famous in the
Philippines before winning Binibining
Pilipinas because she was first an actress and model. She also joined Binibining Pilipinas three times, where
she lost twice, first to Ariella Arida, and second to MJ Lastimosa. In her
third time, she finally managed to win Binibining
